Navigating the various relationships in Persona 3 Reload requires understanding each character's unique worldview and values. Hidetoshi Odagiri represents the Emperor Arcana, serving as the strict head of the Disciplinary Committee in Gekkoutou High School. Building a strong bond with him unlocks powerful Persona fusions and provides deep insights into his rigid sense of justice.
Unlocking and Scheduling Hidetoshi's Social Link
Hidetoshi's Social Link becomes available early in the game on April 27th after joining the Student Council. He can be found inside the Student Council Room across from Class 2F on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Prioritizing his events on school days is essential because school-based links cannot be accessed during breaks or holidays.
Best Dialogue Answers for Fast Ranking
To maximize your rank progression with Hidetoshi, select responses that validate his commitment to order and duty. Supporting his strict enforcement of rules while encouraging him to reflect on his actions earns the maximum number of Social Link points. Carrying a Persona of the Emperor Arcana during your hangouts will also apply a point multiplier to accelerate your progression.
Overcoming Obstacles and Reaching Rank 10
As you progress through his story, Hidetoshi faces intense pushback from fellow students regarding his uncompromising discipline. Helping him balance authority with empathy allows him to mature as a leader without losing his underlying core principles. Reaching Rank 10 maxes out the Emperor Social Link, granting you the ability to fuse Odin, the ultimate Emperor Arcana Persona.
